Terms of use

Terms of use.

The rules of engagement between you and Mazylon Pulse. We've tried to make them readable — without giving up their legal scope.

Preamble

These Terms of Use (« Terms ») govern use of the Mazylon Pulse software (« the Service ») published by Mazylon SAS (« Mazylon », « we »).

The Service is currently in the Design Partnership phase — a closed program reserved for a limited number of pilot organizations. Definitive commercial terms (T&Cs) will be published at public launch. These Terms remain in force until then.

1. Definitions

User
Any natural person with access to the Service, regardless of role (Owner, Admin, Manager, Member, LEAD).
Customer
The organization that subscribed to the Service. Individual users access the Service under the contract subscribed by their organization.
Customer Content
All data ingested through OAuth connectors (Jira, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, Teams, Confluence, Microsoft Graph) as well as data provided directly through the interface.

2. Access to the Service

Access to the Service is via nominal invitation sent by an Owner or Admin of the Customer. Public sign-up is not enabled during the Design Partnership phase.

Each user undertakes to preserve the confidentiality of their credentials and to immediately notify Mazylon in case of compromise.

3. Acceptable use

The user undertakes to:

  • Use the Service only for legitimate professional purposes
  • Not attempt to access data of other tenants
  • Not circumvent security measures (rate-limiting, authentication, isolation)
  • Not resell, sublicense or redistribute the Service to third parties
  • Not use the Service for reverse-engineering, automated scraping, or training a competing AI model
  • Respect Mazylon's intellectual property (trademark, code, website content)

4. Ownership of Customer Content

The Customer retains all rights over its Customer Content. Mazylon acquires no ownership rights over data ingested through connectors.

The Customer grants Mazylon a non-exclusive, worldwide license, limited to the duration of the contract, to use, process and analyze Customer Content solely for the purposes of executing the Service.

5. Ownership of the Service

The Service's code, heuristics, AI models, architecture, and Mazylon and Mazylon Pulse trademarks remain the exclusive property of Mazylon. None of these elements is transferred to the user or Customer by these Terms.

6. Availability

Mazylon uses reasonable means to ensure continuous availability of the Service. During the Design Partnership phase, no formal SLA is guaranteed — the honest counterpart to premium access to a young product.

In case of a major incident, we communicate within 24h by email to Owners and publish a public post-mortem within 5 business days.

7. Liability

The Service is provided « as is ». Its signals and recommendations are indicative and do not replace the human judgment of the team steering a project. The final decision to act (or not) on a signal remains that of the Customer.

Mazylon's total liability to the Customer, all grounds combined, cannot exceed the amount paid by the Customer to Mazylon under the Service during the 12 months preceding the triggering event (or zero during the free Design Partnership phase).

Mazylon cannot be held liable for indirect damages, loss of profits, or damages attributable to non-compliant use of the Service.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate the contract with 30 days' notice by email. Upon termination, access to the Service is disabled, and Customer Content is purged within 90 days (except for legal retention obligations).

On request, a complete export of the data is provided in JSON/CSV format before purge.

9. Changes to the Terms

Mazylon may modify the Terms to reflect the evolution of the Service or regulations. Material changes are notified by email to Owners with 30 days' notice. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

10. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute not resolved amicably shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mazylon's registered office.
